Reggie Redding had a great season with Alba Berlin, being the second MVP of BEKO BBL after Malcolm Delaney. “It was probably the best year of my career, a big step forward, but I think the next one will be even better”, he said to Eurohoops after the end of the finals, as he hopes that his next challenge will be competing in Euroleague.

Coach Sasa Obradovic brought him to Berlin from Tubingen, giving him the opportunity to compete at a higher level in a club with higher goals. The 25 years old forward recognized the role of Serbian manager in the development of his game: “Coach Obradovic had faith to me and gave me the opportunity to show what I can do. He made me full of confidence by giving me the crucial decisions in crunch time, and helped me to get my game to the next level”

According to Reggie Redding, Alba had a really successful season – the team won two cups and played in the finals – but recognized that Munich was a better team and deserved this trophy. Regarding his future, the American small forward has a contract with Alba for one more year and he things that himself and the team will be even better next season.

So is he ready for Euroleague, which is the highest level in Europe (It’s not clear yet if Alba we’ll play or not)? he answered with the question “what do you think?”. “Yes” we replied and he was disarming: “I believe it too man”!
