Eurohoops recently published a list with the top five free Euroleague free agents. Those who had missed most of last season due to injuries and their condition is still questionable, like Acie Law and Erazem Lorbek were excluded. The same applied to Jamont Gordon.

However the former TBL finals MVP is ready to go and he wants to do it with a vengeance. Read what he has to say about himself, his return, Galatasaray‘s past and present and his personal goals.

-You are 100% to return, Missing last season gives you an extra motivation to make up for the missing months?

“I am 100% and ready to return. I’m definitely motivated to come back. I feel like I have a lot to prove”.

-You are ready to find the next stop of your career? Were there cases during this summer in which teams had doubts about your condition?

“I am very excited to see where I will be playing. I think coming off an injury like a torn ΑCL, any team would be reluctant or would have doubts”.

-You played for Galatasaray. Do you feel that last year was the unluckiest season ever for a team with so many injuries of key players in key roles?

“Our team had a ton of injuries and things just never came together but they still banded together and was able to make the finals with a chance to defend our title”.

-Would the story in TBL be different if you were all healthy and ready to go?

“I feel like we would have won if I along with my other teammates were healthy”.

– You are still 27 years old. Do you feel that you are near the pick of your career?

“I am in the prime of my career and I still have a lot of basketball left. I can play at a higher level than I already have”.

– Would you like at some point to return to Galatasaray, after being the MVP of the TBL finals in 2013 and winning the title?

“I had great times with Galatasaray. The fans were great and I enjoyed my teammates! I wouldn’t never rule out going back but I think they have moved on and wanted to go in another direction. They signed some good players like Nolan Smith. He is a very good player and will help them. I wish my old teammates and that organization well”.

– Does the possibility of trying out the NBA is still among your plans or dreams?

“That is always a dream and a goal of mine to reach the NBA. I will continue to work hard and do everything I can to reach my goal”.
