After 15 years of coaching in Greece, Ioannis Kastritis moved to Israel to take over on the bench of Hapoel Tel Aviv back in January and the two sides have agreed to stay together for the next season as well.
The 38-year-old coach is expected to arrive in Israel in the coming days in order to prepare for the finish of the 2019-20 season.
The competition is planned to resume in late June and finish by the end of July. Hapoel currently sits at the ninth spot with an 8-13 record, the same as the eighth Hapoel Eliat and the tenth Ironi Nahariya.
