Juventus made a big upset over Zalgiris with a 90-87 win thanks to a late 16-3 run with which the home team finished the game.

Zalgiris led by 14 points (74-60) in the third quarter and by ten points (84-74) midway through the fourth, however, Juventus completely took over from that point onward to log a great come-from-behind win.

Zygimantas Skucas led the way with 20 points followed by Vaidas Kariniauskas with 18 and Vytautas Sulskis with 14 points. Kariniauskas was the hero with a game-winning three-pointer in the final seconds.

For Zalgiris, Rokas Jokubaitis and Lukas Lekavicius scored 13 points each. It should be noted that Marius Grigonis didn’t play for the reigning champions.

Zalgiris holds a 12-2 record followed by Rytas and Juventus who’ve logged 12 wins as well but also have five losses each.
