Luka Mitrovic scored 21 points and grabbed six rebounds as Crvena Zvezda beat FMP 94 – 70 in Game 1 of the Serbian League Finals best-of-three series.
Nemanja Nedovic dropped 13 points for Zvezda and Filip Petrusev had 11 points plus five rebounds. Facu Campazzo contributed 10 points, five assists and three steals to Red Star‘s win that arrived on the back of a powerful first-half performance.
Zvezda opened the game with a dynamic 29 – 16 entrance and then closed halftime up 53 -28. FMP didn’t manage to bring that deficit below 20 as the quality difference between the two sides was obvious on the floor.
Ebuka Izundu (11 points) and Ranko Simovic (10 points) scored in double figures from FMP.
