Pushing South Sudan to an outstanding Olympic Games qualification at the 2023 FIBA World Cup, Carlik Jones has now officially signed with the Zhejiang Golden Bulls of the Chinese Basketball Association, playing for the first time outside of the United States.

With the Chicago Bulls since the 2022-23 season, where he majorly played in the G-League with the Windy City Bulls, being named MVP of the competition, he then played the 2023-24 NBA preseason, being waived on October 20 and searching for a new team on the market.

Finally, the former Dallas Mavericks and Denver Nuggets 25-year-old guard has moved to China according to his agency’s announcement. At the 2023 FIBA World Cup, under head coach Royal Ivey, he averaged a double-double of 20.4 points and 10.6 assists per game.
