Zalgiris made short work of Uniclub Casino – Juventus en route to a 92-62 victory in Zalgirio Arena to finish the Betsafe LKL Regular Season at 26-4 on Wednesday.

Tucking in 5/6 from beyond the arc, Tomas Dimsa drew a game-high 16 points. Kevarrius Hayes piled up 14 points, six rebounds, three blocks, three assists, and two steals. Edmond Sumner was sidelined due to a leg contusion. Karolis Lukosiunas (back) and Arnas Butkevicius (ankle) remained out for the team coached by Andrea Trinchieri.

Moving to the Playoffs of Lithuania’s top-tier division to wrap up the 2023-24 campaign, the reigning league and cup champions will face M Basket-Delamode or CBet in the Quarterfinals. The next opponent will be determined by the outcome of the game between the Mazeikiai outfit and Nevezis-Optibet tomorrow, Thursday. Game 1 has been scheduled in Kedainiu Arena on Sunday.

A win for M Basket-Delamode would place them in the seventh seed on the Playoffs bracket, sending CBet to the eighth seed and a best-of-three series versus the Kaunas outfit. Otherwise, M Basket-Delamode will rank eighth and face top-seeded Zalgiris.

Second-placed Rytas awaits the seventh seed, M Basket-Delamode or CBet. The remaining pairs have been decided with third-seeded Wolves Twinsbet against sixth Neptunas and fourth Juventus taking on fifth 7Bet Lietkabelis.

Following a best-of-three series across the opening round of the postseason, best-of-five series will be held in the Semifinals and the Finals for first and third place on the rankings.
