Just two days after their defeat at the premier of the Lithuanian LKL league, Zalgiris Kaunas got revenge at home by getting the 90-70 win over Juventus on Saturday.
Kevin Pangos led the way with 22 points in a game which started with Zalgiris trailing by 16 points in the first quarter (27-11). Still the hosts were up by 5 points at half time (45-40) and dominated the last period in order to get the win.
Zalgiris has a 1-1 record in its domestic league, in which they remain the team to beat despite the first round upset.
