Maccabi Tel Aviv resumed its Israeli Winner League obligations by defeating Hapoel Eilat 83 – 70 on the road to improve its record to 2-0.
Tarik Black posted a game-high 25 in PIR after scoring 14 points, grabbing seven rebounds and blocking his opponents four times. Johnny O’ Bryant led all Maccabi players in scoring with 16 points while John Dibartolomeo added 13 points and five rebounds.
For Hapoel Eilat, Elijah Bryant scored 21 points.
Maccabi overpowered Hapoel 22 – 13 in the third quarter following a balanced first half (39-39) and then kept a lead for the remainder of the game. Eilat was unable to keep with its opponents and didn’t manage to notch its first win in the season.
