NCAA Weekly European Report: Pusica leads Northeastern to second spot

Vasa Pusica averaged 21.5 points for Northeastern in the two final games of the Colonial Athletic Association’s Regular Season.

Teams around the United States are gearing up for a NCAA Tournament spot and Northeastern is among them. The Huskies finished second in the CAA with a couple of wins in the last week of action. Vasa Pusica started with 22 points in the 75-64 victory against Delaware and added 21 in the 90-66 win over Drexel to surpass the 1,000-point mark in the NCAA and top Eurohoops’ Weekly Report of European action.

Ignas Brazdeikis scored 20 points in Michigan’s home finale helping out in the 82-53 against Nebraska on Thursday. Jon Axel Gudmundsson averaged 18 points for Davidson this week. Italian sophomore Davide Moretti and Dutch sophomore Matt Haarms rounded up the Top 5 going for 17.5 and 16.5 points per contest.
