Monaco made short work of Le Portel for their second consecutive win in the French League

AS Monaco returned to action after 11 days to take it out on Le Portel and grab a 79-67 win in the French Betclic Elite league.

Monaco imposed its pace right from the first half and grabbed a 49-31 lead at halftime and never looked back to seal its second straight win in France and move up to a 10-4 record.

Ibrahima Fall Faye posted 11 points and 7 rebounds for Monaco, while Donatas Motiejunas and Mike James had 10 points each in this victory. Brock Motum was added to the list of top scorers also with 10 points, while Alpha Diallo added 8 points and 8 rebounds.

Mouphtaou Yarou was the leading scorer for Le Portel with 14 points and Devin Davis had 13 as the team remains at the bottom of the standings with a 3-9 record.
