In the 2023 FIBA Europe Cup Quarter-Finals, the Ukrainian club of Budivelnyk faced Cholet Basket, which advanced to the Semi-Finals of the competition dragged by Dominic Artis.
For the losing side, Bogdan Bliznyuk was one of the best players alongside Archie Goodwin. Following Budivelnyk’s financial issues, the 27-year-old shooting guard, who also participated with the national team at EuroBasket 2022, has joined the red-and-white French team.
Since the beginning of this season’s FIBA Europe Cup, Bogdan Bliznyuk has been averaging 10.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game, shooting 55.9% from two and 46.2% from beyond the arc.
