Elie Okobo poured in 23 points, leading AS Monaco to a win, 99-94, versus Paris in Adidas Arena on Sunday.

The team coached by Vassilis Spanoulis, sitting Nick Calathes and Nemanja Nedovic in Round 3 of the 2025-26 Regular Season of France’s Betclic Elite Regular Season, besides injured Yoan Makoundou, recovered from a slow start to build a double-digit advantage in the second quarter. However, the commanding lead evaporated in the third quarter.

With a clutch bucket, Okobo restored a five-point lead in crunch time and went on to seal the deal by pushing the lead to seven points from the free-throw line with eight seconds on the clock. The 27-year-old guard ended up with 7/8 from the field, including two three-pointers. His side jumped to 2-1.

Without Justin Robinson and Lamar Stevens, the defending LNB champions were forced down to 1-2. Nadir Hifi stood out with a game-high 24 points against La Roca Team.

Earlier in Stade des Flandres, Mike Davis Jr. poured in 28 points, including eight three-pointers, pushing SIG Strasbourg to a win, 87-81, over BCM Gravelines-Dunkerque.

On Saturday, LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne strolled past Le Mans, 91-66, to match Nanterre 92 at 3-0 at the top of the standings.
