After defeating Paris last week, AS Monaco doubled up on domestic wins against fellow EuroLeague teams with a 102-98 victory versus LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne in Astroballe.
Mike James dropped game-highs in 25 points and eight assists, pushing La Roca Team to a tie with ASVEL and four more sides at 3-1, on top of the Betclic Elite standings. Taking over for Monaco, the 35-year-old combo guard spoiled a career night of 17-year-old Adam Atamna, with the promising French upstart scoring a team-high 24 points behind 7/13 field goals, after putting up 23 points over his first seven outings with the senior squad.
Following a two-game week in the 2025-26 Regular Season of the EuroLeague, Nikola Mirotic sat out Round 4 of the domestic Regular Season. Nick Calathes and injured Yoan Makoundou were also unavailable for head coach Vassilis Spanoulis. Due to a recent foot injury, Edwin Jackson joined Shaquille Harrison and Thomas Heurtel on the list of unavailable players for the team coached by Pierric Poupet.
Earlier Sunday, Paris recovered from a 13-point deficit to prevail, 97-92, versus JDA Dijon in Adidas Arena. Nadir Hifi starred with 22 points, including a clutch three-pointer. Captain Sebastian Herrera added 17 points for the team coached by Francesco Tabellini. Allan Dokossi, Daulton Hommes, Jeremy Morgan, and Lamar Stevens were out.
