Monaco stepped up in the second half and got the job done on the road (79-93) against Nancy to remain the leaders of the LNB.
Nikola Mirotic (23 points, 5/7 from beyond the arc) and Elie Okobo (16 p.) were the top scorers for Spanoulis. Mike James, Daniel Theis, and Yoan Makoundou did not play for the Euroleague team.
Tough first half for Monaco in Nancy. The local team fought back in the second quarter to tie it up before the break (41-42), despite Mirotic’s 17 points.
Okobo and David Michineau stepped up in the third quarter, and Monaco grabbed the away win (79-93) to stay on top of the LNB.
Nanterre climbs to the second position after a win on the road (88-97) and JL Bourg’s defeat (77-80). Limoges and Saint-Quentin got the job done at home. Le Mans secured the away victory aganst Boulazac Dordogne.
