The well-known platform Skweek is currently in a serious crisis.
As stated in an open letter to the public by the employees of this company, Skweek’s workers have not received their salaries for four months, are working under very difficult conditions, and are demanding immediate changes.
STATEMENT BY SKWEEK EMPLOYEES
“Skweek employees wish to publicly draw attention today to a situation that has become unbearable. For more than four months, employees have not received their salaries. This
extremely serious situation is plunging employees into unacceptable financial and personal hardship. Despite this, the company, which is now effectively inactive, has still not initiated any legal proceedings.
The employees denounce a deadlock of which they are the primary victims, and which they attribute directly to management’s inaction and decisions. This crisis comes amid a series of court rulings against the company, particularly in disputes with ASVEL and 21 Production, again for failure to honor its contractual obligations!
Today, the facts are clear:
– No salaries have been paid for four months.
– No credible communication has been provided to employees.
– No concrete solutions have been implemented.
– Significant debts to social security and tax authorities are jeopardizing employees’ fundamental rights.
The employees refuse to continue enduring this situation. They demand the following immediately:
– Full payment of all wages owed.
– The immediate initiation of collective proceedings appropriate to the company’s actual situation.
– Complete transparency regarding the company’s financial status.
In the absence of a prompt response, the employees will pursue all necessary actions already underway, including legal and media efforts, to assert their rights and publicly hold those responsible to account.”
