Things may not be going well in the EuroLeague, but Monaco is performing solidly in the French league.

The Monegasque side comfortably defeated Dijon by 108-95, a result that leaves Manuchar Markoishvili’s team at the top of the standings with a 21–3 record.

Alpha Diallo was the standout performer of the game with 29 points and 7 rebounds. Elie Okobo added 23 points and 9 assists, confirming he has stepped up in place of Mike James, who is still recovering from injury. Jordan Barnett scored 24 points, which were not enough for the visitors.

After a first half that ended 55–38, the home team only needed to control their opponents over the remaining 20 minutes—a task they accomplished very convincingly.

Although the visitors closed the gap to 93–86, Monaco kept their composure and rebuilt a comfortable lead, allowing them to close out the game with authority.

The end of the match was marked by a tense incident. As the final whistle approached, emotions ran high on the pitch, culminating in a moment of loss of control. Quentin Losser completely lost his composure, turning what should have been a routine conclusion into a heated and dramatic scene.

To finish the round, ASVEL defeated Elan Chalon 87-89 despite the scoring explosion from Jeremiah Hill, who finished the game as the top scorer with 28 points but couldn’t guide the home team to the victory.
