Thanks to 20 points and a crucial shot with 35 seconds left by Romeo Travis, Le Mans got the close 83-77 win over Gravelines and qualified to the French ProA semifinals.
The hosts prevailed in the decisive Game 3, closing the game the right way against the feisty guests. Travis gave to his team a 79-77 advantage and in the remaining time Gravelines made two turnovers and despite 23 points by Steven Grey couldn’t prevail.
The semifinal couples of the French league are the following: Strasbourg – Le Mans, Monaco – ASVEL with the games starting on the 21st of May.
