German guard Heiko Schaffartzik after one season in Limoges, he will stay in France for one more year, this time near Paris for Nanterre.

The 32 years old guard (1,83 m.) is coming from a mediocre season, but he is still an amazing shooter, finishing his Euroleague season with 47% shooting efficiency in threes.

As coach Pascal Donnadieu said: “I had a long talk with him, he is aware of the work that he will have to provide and he is eager to bounce back after the difficult season in Limoges. We spoke a lot, I explained to him its role in the team and he is very motivated for the new challenge. He is a veteran player who will bring experience compared the young team that we are putting together. I liked what he said to me, because of his very strong incentive to integrate into our project. We will do everything to make him a leader in this team. He will play mainly the point guard position alongside another playmaker who will certainly be an American player”.

The club also announced the addition of 26 years old forward Jeff Morency (2.00 m.) for the next two seasons who comes from Gravelines Dunkerque.
