Elan Chalon shut down Le Mans 66 – 63 on the road, registering their first win in the Pro A season while scathing their opponents’ undefeated record.
Lance Harris scored 19 points and grabbed five rebounds for the winners while Jeremy Nzeuelie dropped 12 points and veteran Mickael Gelabale 10.
For Le Mans, that remains the standings leader, Mykal Riley had 15 points and Romeo Travis a double-double of 12 points plus 12 rebounds.
Travis also had a chance to win the game at the buzzer with one second remaining but his 3-point attempt fell short.
In the rest of today’s games, ASVEL and Monaco proceeded with comfortable victories over Chalon Reims and Boulazac respectively.
