Day 8 of the Pro A league in France was concluded tonight with Dijon’s impressive 65-85 victory on the road over Pau-Orthez.
Since early on, the visitors had complete control of the game thanks to an unbelievable entrance 2-26 (!) entrance that helped them finish the quarter with a 9-28lead. They managed to keep the upper hand throughout the first half and preserve hat 20-point lead until the final buzzer.
Dijon improved its record to 5-3, while Pau Orthez slipped to 6-4.
Over the weekend, the competition reached its peak with some great and close games to watch. Antibes upset ASVEL at home with a 91-73 victory and improved its record to 3-5, while Le Mans got an important win on the road win against Boris Diaw’s Levallois to remain on top of the standings with a 7-1 record.
Also, Hyeres-Toulon and Boulazac got close, tough victories at home against Nanterre and Le Portel respectively.
