18-year-old Alperen Sengun scored 23 points on 8-9 shots to lead Besiktas to a 92 – 68 victory on the road over Ormanspor in the game that concluded Round 19 in the Turkish League.

Sehmus Hazer added 22 points and six rebounds while Markell Johnson contributed 12 points and 13 assists to Besiktas’ win.

Jamelle Haggins (17 points, 10 rebounds) and Terrell Holloway (14 points, nine assists) stood out from the losing side.

In the other games this week in Turkey, Anadolu Efes extended its unscathed streak (19 – 0) by defeating Bahcesehir on the road behind Sertac Sanli (17 points) and Adrien Moerman (16 points). The win came at a cost, with Ergin Ataman’s team losing star Shane Larkin to hamstring injury.

Fenerbahce was beaten by Gaziantep (Trevis Simpson 22 points, Kenny Hayes 20 points) in overtime and also saw Marko Guduric and Dyshawn Pierre exiting the game with injuries.
