In what turned to be a really close contest, Fenerbahce got the 83-79 win over Karsiyaka in Game 1 of the BSL semifinals. Nando De Colo with 22 points set the tone early, scoring 15 of his points in the first quarter and five more before the end of the first half.

Karsiyaka’s coach Ufuk Sarica was ejected after getting two technical fouls three minutes before halftime and Raymar Morgan also was ejected with a double “T” at the fourth quarter. Fenerbahce kept a double-digit lead for most of the game, but Karsiyaka didn’t give up until the end with Tony Taylor scoring 20 points, also having 15 of them in the first half like Nando De Colo.

Amath M Baye made key plays down the stretch as Karsiyaka tried to steal the win, but Fenerbahce got 14 crucial points by Danilo Barthel and 12 by Jan Vesely. Sek Henry also scored 16 points for the losing side.
