Bursaspor bounced back from a four-game losing streak and they’ve done it by upsetting Fenerbahce in the Turkish league

Two Serbian coaches faced each other as Dusan Alimpijevic’s Frutti Extra Bursaspor came out on top against Aleksandar Djordjevic’s Fenerbahce BEKO with 84-73 at home in the Turkish League.

Allerik Freeman and Andrew Andrews led the push for the winning side with 21 and 20 points respectively while Onuralp Bitim added 13 and Metin Turen ten points.

For Fenerbahce, Nando De Colo scored 18 in addition to Sehmus Hazer and Devin Booker’s 12 points each. Achille Polonara had 11.

While Bursaspor had an upper hand result-wise throughout the game, Fener was putting up a big fight to bounce back and were very close multiple times. However, the 25-7 run to end the third and start the fourth quarter decided the outcome as Bursaposr went ahead by 17 points (74-57).

This was Fener‘s first loss in the Turkish League and they now hold a 4-1 record while Bursaspor improved to 2-3, recovering from a four-game losing streak across all competitions.
