Vasilije Micic dropped 26 points without any free throws as Anadolu Efes defeated Darussafaka Basketball 84 – 76 in the Turkish League after a comeback from down 19 to register its fifth straight victory over all competitions.

Micic shot 10-13 from the field, including 6-8 3-pointers in 28:14 minutes. Rodrigue Beaubois added 22 points and Tibor Pleiss had 17 points plus five rebounds in strong performance for Efes in the second half. The reigning champs were trailing 28 – 47 in the second period before approaching 40 – 53 at halftime and dominating the third quarter 28 – 8 to establish a lead for the rest of the match.

With the score 68 – 65 early in the fourth period, Efes made a 12 – 4 run to reach the final stretch with a safe advantage.

Troy Caupain had 15 points and seven rebounds for Dacka that wasn’t able to match up Efes‘ game after the break.
