Vasilije Micic took over and guided Anadolu Efes to a 91-71 win against Fenerbahce BEKO in the Turkish league.

The Serbian guard banked in 26 points while Rodrigue Beaubois followed with 14 and Tibor Pleiss with 13 points. It should be noted that the team was led by assistant Yakup Sekizkok as Ergin Ataman missed the game due to illness.

On the opposing side, Pierria Henry scored 24 and Marko Guduric 21 points.

Although Efes got the win with a big margin, thanks to a dominant 25-8 fourth quarter, they didn’t succeed in overcoming the previous loss (90-68) in this matchup and hence Fenerbahce secured the tiebreaker advantage.

Micic played iso against Sehmus Hazer in the final offense for Efes but turned the ball over. Both teams have suffered four losses so far in the season and top the standings with 15-4 (Fener) and 14-4 (Efes) records.
