Petkim had the upper hand in the first half but Efes vastly improved after the break to get the win.

Six players scored in double figures for Anadolu Efes as the team defeated Petkim Spor 97 – 83 at home behind a powerful second-half performance. Second-placed Efes improved to 18 – 5 with this win while Petkim fell to 5 – 20 and relegation zone.

Rodrigue Beaubois had 16 points and Krunoslav Simon scored 15 to lead an overall balanced Efes offense. Adrien Moerman and Erten Gazi dropped 11 points apiece while Elijah Bryant and Yigitcan Saybir finished with 10 points each.

Malcolm Thomas (18 points, five rebounds), Sean Armand (17 points) and Josh Perkins (12 points, 10 assists) stood out for a Petkim team that closed halftime up 54 – 55 and led 56 – 62 early in the third period.

Efes recovered quickly to take the lead and improved its defense to go ahead 81 – 70, one minute into the fourth period. The hosts retained a safe advantage as Petkim didn’t become any threatening for the rest of the match.
