Caught in a close battle until the fourth quarter, Anadolu Efes got the job done in style against Ayos Konyaspor in Sinan Erdem Dome.

The reigning back-to-back champions of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague notched the win, 88-83, Saturday.

Will Clyburn put up seven of his 21 points in the fourth quarter. Another big contribution in BSL Regular Season Round 7, Rodrigue Beaubois chipped in 19 points. Tibor Pleiss paired his 17 points with eight rebounds and Vasilije Micic went for 14 points, six rebounds, and six assists.

Overcoming Rasheed Sulaimon was the main challenge presented by the visitors. The experienced guard posted a 23-point, 11-assist double-double to go along with four rebounds. Jordan Morgan and Roko Badzim scored 15 points apiece in the losing effort.

Shane Larkin, Elijah Bryant, Isaiah Taylor, Achille Polonara, Ante Zizic, and Bryant Dunston all sat out as the Istanbul outfit jumped to 5-1 in the Turkish league. Improving to 3-5 in the EuroLeague was the case a couple of days ago by defeating FC Barcelona.

Heading to the next two-game week of the EuroLeague Regular Season, the team coached by Ergin Ataman will be in Italy facing EA7 Emporio Armani Milan and Virtus Segafredo Bologna Tuesday and Friday, respectively.

Upping its BSL tally to 6-1, Turk Telekom defeated Pinar Karsiyaka, 92-83, earlier Saturday. Wrapping up the three-game schedule, Galatasaray Nef beat Frutti Extra Bursaspor, 93-88. Opening Round 7, Darussafaka rallied past Bahcesehir Koleji, 76-69, Friday.

More action coming up over the next two days, including unbeaten Fenerbahce Beko playing host to Tofas.
