Rodrigue Beaubois scored a season-high 25 points on 7-10 triples and Anadolu Efes beat Besiktas 99 – 86 on the road to bounce back to wins in the Turkish BSL League after two defeats in a row. The defending EuroLeague champions registered their seventh victory over 10 games while their opponents fell to 2-8 after their fourth straight loss.
Vasilije Micic contributed 20 points plus 13 assists while Tibor Pleiss had 19 points and nine rebounds to push Efes towards the win. Will Clyburn added 13 points plus five assists and Amath M’Baye notched 11 points. Ergin Ataman’s players went off to a brilliant shooting night and had 12 out of 15 3-pointers by halftime.
Matt Mooney’s performance of 28 points, six rebounds plus four assists wasn’t enough for a Besiktas that couldn’t match Efes‘ offensive force. Furkan Haltali added 16 points and Jason Rich scored 14.
There are no more undefeated teams this season in BSL since early on Sunday (11/12), Turk Telekom handed Fenerbahce its first domestic loss. The two teams are now tied for the first place int he standings.
