A game to remember, and a testimony that Fenerbahce BEKO and Anadolu Efes are on a level of their own in Turkey. Fenerbahce managed to pull off a big victory surviving a crazy fourth quarter by Efes, and then getting a “W” in overtime 93-90 (79-79).

Fenerbahce had a comfortable double-digit lead going to the second half (50-40) that only got bigger after the third quarter (71-54). And that is when Efes made an epic push. Coach Itoudis’s squad obviously was thinking that the game was over when the away side went on an incredible 25-8 scoring run that was not enough to win the game, but it gave them a second chance in the extra five minutes.

Fenerbahce wakes up from its slumber in OT, and Marko Guduric hit the most important shot in overtime the meant they can rest easy.

Johnathan Motley had 23 points for Fenerbahce, while Will Clyburn put on a show for Efes. He scored 39 points and added 13 rebounds.

It was the third time Turkish giants met each other in a head-to-head battle this season, and it’s obvious there are more battles to come.
