A confident showing for Anadolu Efes coupled up with the win, 106-82, over Gaziantep in Ahmet Comert Spor Salonu Friday night.

Shane Larkin with 18 points behind 6/12 field goals boosted the game-high efficiency rating of 21 in Turkey’s BSL Regular Season Round 28 opener. He made three triples out of the impressive team total of 11/18 from beyond the arc.

Bugrahan Tuncer earned a share of the team-high 18 points. Will Clyburn and Vasilije Micic had 15 and 14 points, respectively. Rodrigue Beaubois, Chris Singleton, Dogus Balbay, Egehan Arna, Tibor Pleiss, and Bryant Dunston were all inactive.

Playing host to Fenerbahce Beko and Turk Telekom in Sinan Erdem Spor Salonu along with a visit to Yukatel Merkezefendi shape the three fixtures left on the double-legged round-robin schedule.

Facing the two leading teams, Ergin Ataman’s side can still salvage a top-two finish. Winning all three remaining games and additional help will be required to avoid landing between third and fourth on the Playoffs bracket. Besides the top eight teams advancing to the Playoffs, the top four will clinch homecourt advantage in the Quarterfinals with Pinar Karsiyaka and Frutti Extra Bursaspor in the mix for the upper slots.
