After suffering their fourth EuroLeague defeat and losing to Fenerbahçe in the Istanbul derby, Anadolu Efes bounced back in the domestic championship.
Igor Kokoškov’s side defeated Trabzonspor on the road, 74–81, improving to 5–0 in the Turkish Basketball Super League.
This time, Ercan Osmani was out of the lineup, while Kai Jones returned to action and shared minutes at the five with Brice Dessert and Rolands Šmits.
In the end, Şehmus Hazer led the way with 19 points, six rebounds, and six assists, while P.J. Dozier followed with 13 points and six boards. Cole Swider added 11 points.
On the other side, Marcquise Reed stood out with 23 points and seven assists, while Berk Demir contributed 11 and Ángel Delgado 10 points.
