Anadolu Efes grabs a thrilling and necessary win in the Turkish league. They beat Büyükçekmece in a close end (85-87). Ninth win for the Estambul team in the Basketbol Süper Ligi.
Jordan Loyd (23 p.) and newcomer Saben Lee (15 p.) were Laso’s team’s top scorers. Shane Larkin, Isaia Cordinier, PJ Dozier, and Rolands Smits did not play.
The first half was easy for Anadolu Efes. Sarper Mutaf and Ercan Osmani led the way before the break (38-50) in the Gazanfer Bilge Sports Hall.
The local team fought back in the third quarter (65-70). They almost completed a great comeback (73-74), but Loyd and Lee exploded in the final minutes to secure a thrilling win on the road (85-87).
