ASVEL is reportedly exploring a move for Anadolu Efes guard Nick Weiler-Babb as the French club continues to strengthen its roster ahead of next season.
According to Eurohoops sources, Weiler-Babb is currently in discussions with ASVEL despite being under contract with Anadolu Efes for the 2026-27 campaign. The negotiations signal ASVEL’s intent to make a significant impact in the transfer market as the club looks to bolster its squad for the future.
The potential move comes as ASVEL president Tony Parker continues to take an aggressive approach in the market, targeting established Euroleague talent in an effort to elevate the team’s competitiveness.
Weiler-Babb has been an important contributor for Anadolu Efes, earning a reputation as one of the competition’s most reliable perimeter defenders while also providing playmaking and versatility on both ends of the floor.
While no agreement has been finalized, talks between the player and the French club are ongoing. Should a deal be completed, ASVEL would secure a proven Euroleague performer as Parker continues his ambitious roster-building project in Lyon.
Per Eurohoops sources, despite having a contract for next season, Anadolu Efes‘ Nick Weiler-Babb is in talks with ASVEL, which can be his new home for next season, as Tony Parker is moving aggressively on the market.
