Bahcesehir remained the only unbeaten team in the Turkish BSL after five rounds, holding off a persistent Besiktas side in a game overshadowed by an injury scare for Lonnie Walker.

The hosts claimed a 100–96 victory in a duel between Serbian coaches Aleksandar Djordjevic and Dusan Alimpijevic, improving to 5–0 while Besiktas dropped to 2–3.  Malachi Flynn delivered two crucial late three-pointers, helping Bahcesehir establish a 96–91 advantage in the closing moments. Besiktas continued to fight but could not complete the comeback.

Walker’s condition became a concern in the fourth quarter. After a hard fall and a heavy foul by Flynn, he attempted to return late in the game but lasted just one possession before limping off again. He did not return to action, finishing with 15 points and four rebounds in just under 20 minutes.

Reed led Bahcesehir with 18 points, while Inglis added 16. Ponitka contributed 15 points, eight rebounds and six assists, Flynn finished with 13 points, and Williams recorded 11 points, nine rebounds and six assists.

Nowell paced Besiktas with 21 points and four assists, while Omoruyi matched Walker’s 15 points and added five rebounds. Zizic contributed 11 points and four rebounds.
