Galatasaray is on the chase of the sixth position of the Turkish league standings and prevailed over Pinar Karsiyaka (14-13) with 67-55, improving its record to 17-10.
Vladimir Micov led the winners with 18 points, followed by Austin Daye’s 14 points and 9 rebounds.
At halftime, the score rested at 34 points for each team, with Alex Tuys leading the hosts with 8, while Mike Green had 10 points for Karsiyaka.
The hosts had an obvious motivation to chase this victory and so they put more pressure in their offense in the second half and even manage to trail their visitors by 6 points after 30 minutes, 51-45.
Galatasaray expanded the lead to 9 points with 2 minutes remaining, slowly sealing a positive result.
