With Brad Wanamaker (19 points, 6 assists) and Dairis Bertans (19 points) inflicting damage, Darussafaka Dogus dominated most of the 2nd half to beat Galatasaray 78 – 69 after a comeback.

Coach Blatt’s team improved its Turkish League record to 19 – 7 climbing to the fourth spot of the standings while the “Cimbom” fell to 17 – 10.

With Austin Daye (18 points) and Sinan Guler (18 points) taking care of scoring, Galatasaray was up by nine 36 – 45, early in the third quarter but their opponents answered with a very quick 9 – 0 run and eventually took the lead, 59 – 56 at the end of the period.

Dacka assumed total control the fourth quarter while everything was going downhill for the guests. When coach Ergin Ataman was ejected after a quarrel with the referees, nothing stopped Dacka from increasing its lead to double figures, 74 – 63 and become the boss until the final buzzer.

After this result the winners have a 20-7 record, good enough for the fourth spot in the standings, while Galatasaray is sixth (17-11) and lost valuable ground in the regular season race.
