Fenerbahce made a decisive step on securing first place in Turkish League regular season by defeating Besiktas with ease.

Six players scored in double figures for Fenerbahce that faced no problems against Besiktas, winning 93 – 76 at home. Following this result, the defending champs will “lock” first place before the playoffs, if Galatasaray beats Anadolu Efes tomorrow at home.

Bobby Dixon led for Fener with 16 points while Ekpe Udoh dropped 13, same as Kostas Sloukas who also served seven assists to his teammates. Bogdan Bogdanovic (12 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists), Jan Vesely (12 points) and Nikola Kalinic (10 points) completed the winning puzzle for coach Obradovic‘s team.

Besiktas lost track after the first quarter (25 – 21) and found themselves trailing by double digits for most of the game afterwards. Vladimir Stimac had 18 points and 6 rebounds, Earl Clark 12 points and DJ Strawberry 10.
