Tofas easily defeated Pinar Karsiyaka 94-75 in the final game of Sunday. The home squad has six players in double-digits, while for Karsiyaka, Jarrod Jones shined with 28 points. Tofas is now second in the Turkish League.
Earlier on Sunday, Anadolu Efes put on an offensive show against Sakarya, scoring 100 points and only allowing 76 from the opposition. Toney Douglas led the way with his 26 points.
Usak Sportif also got an important home victory against Galatasaray that was decided in the fourth period (85-78). The visitors tried to come back in the fourth quarter, scoring 30 points but it was too late for a comeback.
On Saturday, Besiktas defeated Gaziantep, as DJ Strawberry finished with 16 points, while Eskisehir beat a short-handed Trabzonspor squad on the road. Trabzonspor competed without its foreign players, as they decided to cancel their contracts.
On Friday, Fenerbahce Dogus Istanbul blew out Yesilgiresun on the road to remain at the top of the Turkish League standings with a 22-3 record.
