Not the best way to end the regular season for David Blatt’s team as Darussafaka fell to Gaziantep 77-83. Sean Armand scored 25 points and was crucial down the stretch for the winners.
The game was close throughout and in the start of the fourth (67-67) but Gaziantep was too much to handle in the final minutes. Thus will remain in the competition after finishing the season with a 10-20 record.
Overtime was needed in the final game of the regular season between Eskisehir and Sakarya BB, but the hosts eventually came out on top (102-96). Eskisehir went on an 11-2 run in the extra period which was enough to seal the victory.
William Baron put up 30 points (6/8 3FG) for the hosts, while Joshua Duncan added a double-double of 16 points and 12 rebounds.
On Saturday, Anadolu Efes finished the regular season with a win over Galatasaray. Efes will now play against Darussafaka for the BSL playoffs.
On Friday, Fenerbahce Dogus blew out Istanbul Buyuksehir ahead of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four. Ahmet Duverioglu led the way with a double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds.
