Henry leads Tofas past Efes for Game 2 victory

Tofas Bursa is one win away from the Turkish League finals after defeating Anadolu Efes in Game 2 of the semis.

After absolutely demolishing Anadolu Efes in Game 1 of the Turkish League semifinals, Tofas Bursa got past Efes 89-82 in Game 2 and currently lead the semis 2-0.

The visitors stayed in the game for the first 25 minutes (53-51), challenging their opponent, but Tofas’ duo of Henry and Morgan put the hosts up by eight points (66-58). In the final two minutes, Efes cut the deficit to just four points, with Batuk and Simons starting the comeback, but it was too late too late. With 35 seconds, Pierria Henry knocked down a three-pointer that ended any hopes of Efes for a late turnaround.

Henry was impressive for the winners as he put up 22 points, while Jeffrey Morgan added 19 points and four rebounds.

For the losing side, Birkan Batuk had a solid impact on the game with 22 points, trying to spark the comeback for the visitors, while Brock William Motum added 17 points.

It is also significant to note that Sonny Weems of Efes did not play in Game 2.
