Toney Douglas put on a memorable performance for Sakarya, that broke through Efes’ homecourt.

Sakarya forced Anadolu Efes in its first defeat of the season in the Turkish League with a 96-86 victory, paced by Toney Douglas.

The American guard posted a 36-point performance, along with seven assists and four rebounds and led his team to its second victory of the season.

Earlier this weekend, Fenerbahce held back Gaziantep, while Tofas marked a comeback victory over Galatasaray.

After four weeks of action, Fenerbahce remains undefeated on top of the BSL standings, followed by Tofas, Anadolu Efes and Bahcesehir that shared a 3-1 record.
