After Japan, Poland and France, Greece and PAOK added on basketball experiences all around the globe gained by Zane Knowles. Already fascinated by Greek history and a Spartan 300 tattoo to prove it, the 27-year-old center talked to Eurohoops about his tattoo, the Bahamas and more.

“I got it on my chest and on my side,” noted Knowles, “It’s a tattoo I have from five years ago, I got it my first year in Japan. I got it then and I’m now in Greece five years later, crazy how life works.”

“Basically, I’m in love with that moto of life,” he added referring to what attracted him from Sparta and Leonidas, “On the court, off the court, just fighting until the end. Never retreat, never give up. This mentality I have and I just put it on my body.”

Afterwards explained his decision to sign with PAOK and accepted Zeus as a potential name for his child. Knowles also touched on the level of basketball in the Bahamas and his relationship with Klay Thompson.
