Eurohoops presents the complete review of the playoffs in the best European leagues (Spanish, Turkish, German, VTB, Italian and French) this weekend highlighting the Top scorer, the top win, the worst loss, the biggest fall and a tip during the last three days.

Top Scorer

Nihad Djedovic (Bayern, Germany)

30 points (6/8 free throws, 3/5 2ps, 6/9 3ps) in Bayern’s victory vs Alba (101-96)

The biggest win

A huge qualification for Bayern in a showcase game

Bayern defeated Alba in overtime 101-96 in a showcase game for basketball and got the qualification to the finals where they will face Bamberg. The Bavarians prevailed thanks to the excellent accuracy percentage from long-range and the excellent Nihad Djedovic, while Pesic was ejected with two technical fouls.

The worst defeat

Milano falters

Sassari won the fourth game of the semifinal series and is now ahead of Milano 3-1. The most expensive Italian team that was considered the unshakeable favorites for the title is in danger of not even making the finals.

The biggest failure

With the back against the wall

Fenerbahce lost for the second time to Karsiyaka and are now one defeat away from… disaster. More unrest, even more than the defeat, was brought on by Goudelock’s… nighttime wanderings.
Efes is already in the finals after the 3-0 over Trabzonspor.

The interesting fact

Tenth consecutive season

It’s a record that will be hard to be repeated! Olympiacos will face Panathinaikos in the finals of the Greek championship for the tenth consecutive season! Since 2006, not even by mistake has one of the two “eternal enemies” lost their way to the finals. For the record, Olympiacos qualified with 3-1 over Aris and Panathinaikos with 3-0 over PAOK.

Since 31/5/2006 until now, every season the match up in the Greek finals is Olympiacos-Panathinaikos
