The 15th episode of The Player Podcast presented by Swish Cultures features Franz and Moritz Wagner.
After sharing the court as teammates at the Orlando Magic, the German brothers talked with hosts Jordan Taylor and Anthony Goods about preparing for the NBA draft. Both being first-round picks themselves dived into pre-draft preparations for potential NBA newcomers, comparing playing in Europe to the level of competition in the NCAA, and more.
Both Wagner brothers, coming out of Alba Berlin, from there played college basketball in Michigan. Franz was selected with the 8th overall pick of the 2021 draft by the Magic. Three years earlier, Moe was selected with the 25th overall pick by the Los Angeles Lakers and finally landed in Orlando late in the 2020-21 season.
The 2022 NBA draft will be held tonight, 23 June, at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
