Tyler Dorsey returns to the Greek national team for the upcoming Eurobasket and sets the bar high.
Last time he wore the Greece’s jersey, together with Giannis Antetokounmpo, they made it to the quarterfinals, losing to the host nation Germany.
“I want to show that I am way better,” he says to Eurohoops, and after a spectacular performance with Olympiacos in the Greek League finals, there’s a reason for optimism, despite a season where he was fighting for EuroLeague minutes.
After all, playing for the national team is different, the tournament is going to be short, and there’s chaos in the process with a mix of high expectations and upsets that are bound to happen.
“For some reason, I play better in this chaos”, he says with a smile as Greece is considered one of the dark horses of the competition.
