Eurohoops presents the Top 10 with the highest-paid NBA players for the 2025-26 season.
For many years, NBA player salaries have taken off, thanks to the league’s television contracts and the collective bargaining agreements signed by the involved parties.
It is no longer surprising that annual salaries have reached the 60 million dollar mark (!) or even players with limited roles earning 5-10 million every year, even if we are talking about gross earnings.
And what we are now witnessing… lacks compared to what follows.
But which player has the highest contract for the 2025-26 season? How much will he get? Which players are in the Top 10?
Stephen Curry ranks first. He will break the $60 million barrier next season, after a salary of $59 million for this season.
His maximum contract extension was based on the collective bargaining agreement and his years with the same team, the Golden State Warriors.
Nikola Jokic and Joel Embiid follow, while Kevin Durant is in fourth place, and Giannis Antetokounmpo is tied with Anthony Davis, Jayson Tatum, and Jimmy Butler in fifth place.
The latter four will move over Durant on next season’s Top 10, since the two-time champion took a pay cut in his recent contract extension deal with the Houston Rockets.
The entire Top 10 will exceed the $60 million mark in the 2027-28 season, expect for Durant.
We also await another possible contract extension for Curry.
