EuroLeague Round 16 is just around the corner, and we have reason to be happy with what happened so far.
Last week, we recommended Nando De Colo and Johannes Voigtmann, with both of our choices giving a lot of points.
We got 20 from the French star, and 19 from the – surprisingly cheap in Euroleague Fantasy – German center/forward, and especially in his case, we won a lot by spending little.
And those who read us and trusted us had also won.
So let’s go to the particularly in-form Lonnie Walker of Maccabi.
A player whose style we generally don’t like in Euroleague Fantasy, since he is mainly a scorer, rather than an athlete with an all-around game.
And when a player focuses mainly on scoring, if he gets cold, it’s a problem.
Walker, however, had three very big games in a row with an average of 24.5 points and 24.3 in PIR!
Last week, he achieved a double career high with 33 PIR and nine rebounds, while Maccabi is now playing with Dubai BC, which is not famous for its defense.
The former NBAer costs 14.1 points in Euroleague Fantasy. A fairly large amount that burdens the budget of every team, but we will ride with him.
