The tip-off of EuroLeague Round 20 brings us to a hard but obligatory decision, to cur the best player based on PIR in the game, namely Nikola Milutinov.
It goes without saying that for weeks the Serbian center has been in all our teams (and yours), and he certainly justified is selection.
Now, however, his participation in the Olympiacos derby with Fenerbahce was doubtful and today it was announced that he will not play.
There’s an obvious alternative solution, and it is none other than “Milu’s” substitute, Donda Hall, with 11.6 credits.
Hall is not bad in Euroleague Fantasy (with a 10.9 PIR per average), so you can go to his selection and “buy” other expensive players in the remaining positions.
For example, we took Ergin Ataman because we don’t think Panathinaikos will lose to Milan, and we recommend the very expensive Kendrick Nunn, to add (if you don’t already have him), a very, very, in-form player on our roster.
The Euroleague MVP has an average of 18.6 PIR, but in the last eight games, he took off to 23.6!
Nunn costs 17.4 credits, and if you have a problem with your “budget”, then we recommend Tarik Biberovic of Fenerbahce.
The European champion’s shooter will cost you just 7 points in Euroleague Fantasy, and in the last three games, he has an average of 15.0 PIR, compared to just 5.0 all year!
