From Thomas Walkup to three more guards at an affordable price for this week in EuroLeague Fantasy

By Dimitris Minaretzis info@eurohoops.net

With Round 25 of the 2025-26 EuroLeague Regular Season starting today, Tuesday, with Paris and Real Madrid colliding in Adidas Arena, an early look at our EuroLeague Fantasy options is necessary.

Just like the teams on the court, we have not been at our best in Fantasy tips lately, but face the next challenges completely unafraid.

Before Round 24, we were split between the backup centers of Olympiacos, with Donta Hall eventually prevailing in the internal Fantasy battle opposite Tyrique Jones.

Bouncing back for Round 25, you can safely pick up Nikola Milutinov, the second-best player in the Fantasy campaign.

Our next tip stays within the Greek club, which concerns none other than Thomas Walkup.

With Monte Morris on the sidelines and Cory Joseph with the Reds for just a few hours, the options for head coach Giorgos Bartzokas in the one position are… one. So, “In Tom we trust” it is.

The 33-year-old point guard is coming off solid showings and costs only nine credits. His price tag allows us to also add more expensive Fantasy players.

His Performance Index Rating over the last three games was 18, 11, and 18, and we believe he will hit double-digits once more with Olympiacos at home against FC Barcelona on Thursday.

Two Maccabi players and one from ASVEL

In the same price range for guards, we made our approach to one of two at Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv.

We are referring to Tamir Blatt at 7.9 credits and Gabriel Lundberg at 8.3 credits.

The Danish point guard has been very consistent and improved over the last five games, logging a double-digit PIR in every outing throughout this span. He has averaged 12.8 per contest, which is certainly more attractive to us compared to the inconsistent but often explosive Israeli playmaker.

If you are looking for another rocky guard with the potential to erupt, Thomas Heurtel is an interesting case.

The 36-year-old player of LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne is tagged at 8.6 credits and is the starting point guard of the French club. With Panathinaikos Aktor in LDLC Arena on Friday, the Greens have often… allowed strong performance for the guards of the opponents.

Over the last few weeks, Heurtel has established himself in the double-digit PIR area and peaked at 24, but also registered -4 and +7.

If you are seeking a positive tally via a bargain with a cheap guard, then this can be the moment to pick him up.
